Smartlife Sacco Society Ltd (formerly Marakwet Teachers SACCO) was incorporated and licensed to transact business in 1995 with one branch in Kapsowar which also acts as headquarters. From a humble beginning, the SACCO has grown from strength to strength and has established the first branch in Kapcherop to serve members in the Kapcherop Division and its environs The Sacco will expand its operation to including opening of new branches. This growth has as a result of clear vision by the founders and management of the SACCO who are committed to bringing efficient financial services closer to the members especially within the county and beyond.

The society’s membership is spread across Elgeyo Marakwet County and beyond.
